Fabrics

What is Lenzing™ Modal and why do you use it?

Lenzing™ Modal is a soft fibre made from beech wood pulp by Lenzing in Austria. It's silky, stretchy, breathable and gentle on skin, which is why it's in most of our G strings, briefs and crops.

Our signature blend is 78% Lenzing™ Modal, 17.8% Polyamide and 4.2% Elastane. The Modal gives the softness, the stretch gives a fit that stays put.

Do you use bamboo or TENCEL™?

No. Our Modal styles use Lenzing™ Modal. We don't use bamboo, and our current range doesn't use TENCEL™.

Which styles are organic cotton?

The Organic Cotton G, Organic Cotton Bralette, Organic Cotton Classic Crop and Vintage Nighty are 100% organic cotton (main fabric, trims excluded). Our Ribbed Bralette and Ribbed Boxer Brief are a blend of 45.5% organic cotton, 45.5% Lenzing™ Modal and 9% elastane.

Are your products OEKO-TEX® certified?

Yes. Nat'v Basics holds OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certification, which means the fabrics are tested for harmful substances.

Which styles use recycled fabric?

The Carbon G in Beech and Bronze and the Carbon Crop are 80% recycled polyamide. The Micro Mesh G and Mesh Crop are 75% recycled polyamide. The Miami Bodysuit is 93% recycled nylon.

What sizes do you offer?

Which brief should I choose?

  • Classic Brief: high waisted, full coverage, vintage cut leg, relaxed fit.
  • Callie Brief: semi-seamless bikini brief at the natural waist with a higher cut leg and thin waistband.
  • ChiChi Brief: high waisted with a thick, firm waistband for a little hold. Size up for extra comfort.
  • Brazilian Brief: mid-rise cheeky cut.

Which G string should I choose?

  • Cheeky G: our best seller. Medium coverage, thin soft waistband, semi-seamless Lenzing™ Modal.
  • Carbon G: our micro G string, with the least coverage for the smoothest line.
  • It's a G: a minimal, skinny everyday G string in Lenzing™ Modal.
  • ChiChi G: high waisted with a firm waistband.
  • Organic Cotton G: 100% organic cotton pointelle with lace trim.

Which crop or bralette should I choose?

  • V Crop: wire-free low-V with removable padding and straps that cross at the back.
  • Classic Crop: wire-free high V-neck with a firm band and adjustable straps. Size up for extra comfort.
  • Everyday Crop: wire-free V-neck with light support and removable padding.
  • Racer Crop: ribbed racerback with sewn-in padding and light to medium support.
  • ChiChi Crop: ribbed racerback with thicker straps.
  • Ribbed Bralette: low-V with spaghetti straps, no padding, made for lounging.
  • Organic Cotton Bralette: wire-free triangle cup with removable padding.

Cold, gentle wash and hang to dry. Skip the dryer and fabric softener to keep the fabric soft and the fit right.
