Behind the Seams - Darling Shine x Natv Collaboration

The design process was all about balance, walking that fine line between aesthetic and function.
We weren’t just making a bodysuit. We were building a feeling. Something sleek and sculpted, but also comfy enough to live in. A piece you could throw on without overthinking, yet still feel like you’ve got your sh*t together.
We started with what matters most: sustainability. That meant using our signature recycled ribbed fabric, not just because it’s good for the planet (which is non-negotiable), but because it feels incredible on. It’s double-layered, breathable, and body-loving. The ribbed texture adds just enough grip to smooth everything over while still letting your shape do its thing. It holds you in through the waist and bust without feeling rigid. Comfort with structure. Like a gentle hug with backbone.
But the first sample? Let’s just say… she needed edits.
The back sat too low, which meant it didn’t give that clean, lifted look we were after. So we tweaked it to sit higher and feel more secure. Still open and flattering, but now it holds position like a boss.
And the halter? It looked amazing, but practically? Boobs. Were. Escaping. We brought the neckline up, tightened the hold, and made sure it gives coverage without compromise. Now it fits like it was made for you, because it was.
Enter the Darling Shine girls.
This drop is the third collab between NAT’V BASICS and Darling Shine. And if the last two were anything to go by, this one’s set to fly.
With a combined following of nearly 1 million loyal fans, Ellidy and Chloe speak directly to Aussie women who trust their word like gospel. That trust, combined with NAT’V’s obsession with comfort-first design, led to two previous sellout launches. One of them even had a product selling every few seconds at peak.
“Why a third collab? Simple, it just makes sense,” says Nat’v founder Sandy Ronalds.
“We share the same audience. And the way we vibe as a team and community is effortless. Last year we dropped a bodysuit and sold 500 in just two days, so of course we had to bring more back for our people.”
This new bodysuit? It's a glow-up in every way. Crafted from NAT’V BASICS’ ribbed recycled nylon, it was built to sculpt, support, and show up whether you’re headed for coffee or cocktails. The embroidered detail on the back adds a little luxe touch. The dramatic leg flare brings that wearable drama moment. Dress it down with sneakers. Dial it up with heels. Either way, it’s giving main character energy.
For Ellidy and Chloe, this drop is personal.
“This product is for anyone who wants comfort and confidence in one,” Chloe says.
“It’s made for the everyday woman who juggles errands, work, and play but still wants to feel snatched, stylish, and effortless.”
“Whether you’re slipping it on with sneakers for a coffee run or dressing it up with heels for a night out, it’s designed for people who care about sustainability, quality, and looking damn good while doing life,” Ellidy adds.
This isn’t just another staple.
It’s a piece that’s been tested, tweaked, and designed for real life. For Monday meetings. Friday drinks. Lazy Sundays. And all the ‘nothing to wear’ moments in between.
It’s not just a bodysuit. It’s a wearable confidence boost.
And it’s coming in hot.
